The goals of this course include:

Understand and prepare for the academic job market

Engage in professional development conversations through quizzes and discussion board assignments

Create drafts of the artifacts you will need for an academic job search (i.e. CV, Cover Letter, and ePortfolio)
- Develop your professional identity
To earn a digital certification you must
complete all required assessments and the 5 High Impact Assignments:
Individual Development Plan, academic CV, Cover Letter, Research and/or
Diversity Statement, and professional eportfolio. There is no time limit
or due dates. The course consists of ten modules that align with the
ten parts of the textbook (see below). Modules will be released on a
weekly basis beginning January 2019. Badges are issued upon completion
of the course.
